Following on from the success of Emotion Wave’s previous charity compilation albums, we’re happy to announce Mates - a compilation of music from electronic artists from the North West of England and beyond.

Mates is a departure from the usual collection of tracks we’ve collated in the past. For this release we asked that the music is the result of a collaborative process. We wanted to encourage artists and producers to work together, in any way they saw fit, to expand creative horizons, mash up sub-genres, test comfort zones and create a space to break free from established workflows - to create something special and unique to that artistic relationship.

All proceeds from the sale of Mates will be donated to Tom Harrison House, a specialist facility based in Anfield which provides a 12-week addiction recovery programme exclusively to military veterans, reservists, emergency personnel, and their families.
